Post Pandemic.

This collection has been developed to take into consideration how the ‘new normal’, created by Covid may alter the buying and lifestyle habits of the consumer. Predicting that working from home may stay with us, and the need for direct seasonal collections may shift. This project has been created using both Photoshop and Procreate.

Wallace.

The Wallace Collection in London is a sumptuous space that is home to some of the country’s finest works of art. This collection has been inspired by the ornate tassels of the curtains in the Front State Room whilst visiting Manolo Blahnik’s ‘An Enquiring Mind’ exhibition. They offer a contemporary take on luxury with a regal feel. This project has been created using both Photoshop and Procreate.

Valencia.

A collection inspired by Valencia’s Mercado Central - the Central Market. Drawing on the contrast between the floral motifs of the Art Nouveau domes and the industrial presence of the glass & iron roof, these designs show a juxtaposition between textural surfaces and delicate embroidered detailing. This project has been created using Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro.

Stride.

‘Stride’ is the result of Naomi’s Masters Degree in Bespoke Footwear & Biomechanics. It takes the real world problem of hypermobility in pregnant women, and applies her design creativity and commercial knowledge to create an entirely new product, which is in the early stages of production.

BA (Hons) Final Year Project.

Naomi’s final year undergraduate project takes inspiration from architecture & light reflection. Japanese folding methods were developed to create pleated panels that were a theme throughout the collection.
